Sonoran Glass Art Academy Flame-off

Heat up the winter at SGAA's 2012 Flame Off!! Founded here in Tucson by Tom Philabaum, the event has grown into a highly anticipated flameworking competition. Flame Off! is: 28 Glass Artists from across the globe competing against the clock to create the wildest glass art creations either solo or in teams of two. The Flame Off!, a highlight of the Gem and Mineral Show, draws hundreds of people for a night of spectacular entertainment, providing the ultimate opportunity to get together to celebrate everything that is fun and exciting about glass!
