Simax glass, produced in Czech Republic, is a high quality borosilicate glass in COE 33. It is often used in laboratory and industrial glass products because of it's heat resistance, perfect clarity, and non-porous surface. This also makes Simax the ideal borosilicate clear glass for blown glass art and functional work. It is compatible with any other COE 33 glass in color or clear.

The Iris Tubing from Simax has three thick, rounded lobes on the outside of the tube. It is similar to the Daisy Tubing, but has only three ridges running lengthwise down the tube.
