In this 3-day class, you’ll start by making stringers of different diameters and learn why it is important to have enough stringers BEFORE you start working. You will also learn what diameter stringers to use in certain cases. Learn to make fine-lined murrinis, Indian elephant beads, and free-form shapes such as rocks, islands and tabs. Also covered will be modern flower focals and the combination possibilities of opaque and transparent glass. Be prepared to challenge your creative abilities AND have a Rockin’ Good Time!
Class will be limited to 10 students. Glasscraft will provide Minor burners for each student, but feel free to bring your own torch if you like. Melanie says GTT torches are preferred because they can be used with a TINY, SHARP flame.
